50 aka Bugsy won again with his rich lawyers against his poor baby mama.
Article:
Rap mogul 50 Cent has won yet again, a restricted amount of time with his son, away from ex-girlfriend Shaniqua Tompkins.
Long Island Judge David Freundlich ruled on Monday that the rapper can see his 11-year-old son Marquise every other weekend until an October 22 custody trial in Suffolk Family Court.
The G-unit founder was mobbed by fans outside the courtroom, and disclosed to the New York Daily News that he plans to relax after closing another convoluted legal chapter with his child's mother.
"I'm going to hang out with some women," 50 Cent quipped. "Make some music, make some movies, and continue to kick it."
However, Tompkins' order of protection bars 50, real name Curtis Jackson, from having any direct contact with her. Tompkins has agreed to drop their son off every other Friday night at a police precinct in Queens. From that point, 50's mother or a driver will pick up the boy.
Both Jackson and Tompkins have lawsuits pending against one another, stemming from a suspicious fire in May that destroyed Jackson's $2.5 million dollar mansion in Dix Hills, Long Island.
Tompkins' suit alleges that 50 started the fire to renege on a previous verbal agreement made in 2000 to split income made from his rap career.
50 has vehemently denied her claims, and has countered with a $20 million dollar defamation lawsuit.
