Little midget Yung Berg and Nina Sky were spotted at the Baby Phat fashion show in NYC yesterday. We don’t think too many dark butts will be supporting this mark anytime soon. That’s assuming he is able to get another album out.

Nightclub Where Young Berg Assaulted Sued for $15 Million

The Detroit nightclub where rapper Yung Berg was attacked last month has been named as a defendant in two lawsuits related to violent incidents at the venue, according to reports.

The 22-year-old, Chicago-based rapper was alledgedly beaten and robbed at the infamous nightclub. Young Berg, whose real name is, Christian Ward cancelled his contract for a performance on Aug. 23 at the Summer Jamz festival, sponsored by Radio One Station 102.7, after the beating.

Detroit rapper Trick Trick described Young Berg's beating in published remarks, claiming, "I saved that n----'s life." Other insiders, however, claim that the incident was a setup by Trick Trick, who is believed to have ties to Plan B.

The most recent suit, a wrongful death suit, was filed against Plan B Nightclub, Inc. and two of its bouncers on August 15, just one week before Berg's notorious altercation.

The lawsuit was filed by attorney Jerome Goldberg on behalf of 22-year-old Perry Deshawn Freeman, who was alledgedly shot in the back by Alwalie Barber and/or Steven Ray Gatson in February of this year, reports AllHipHop.com. Court documents reveal that Barber and Gatson are accusd of firing lethal hollow-point bullets at Freeman as he ran from them behind the downtown Detroit venue.

Following Freeman's death, police documents claimed that he had fired the first shot after being asked to leave the venue for dancing on the table. However, police records showed no evidence linking the gun Freeman allegedly possessed to the victim, nor did they show any proof that he had fired a gun.

Neither bouncer has been prosecuted to date. Goldberg is seeking monetary damages in Freeman's death as well as a jury trial.

An earlier lawsuit filed against Plan B Nightclub seeks compensation in the amount of $15 million in the attack of plaintiff Victor Smith, who was alledgedly beaten by members of the club's security staff in April. In the action filed by Smith's attorney Thomas Randolph, several of Smith's friends corroborated his account of the beating, which, left him physically and mentally affected.

According to Smith's friends, the victim was taken into a private room by the bouncers, after he complained that a female patron had spit on him. They went on to say that they were restrained by other bouncers guarding the door, but could hear sounds of a struggle in the room.

They later found Smith unconscious and injured outside the club.

The Smith lawsuit goes on to ask that the "corporate veil of secrecy" on Plan B be explored, as the club does not seem to have a state or city liquor license or permit.

Reports have named Detroit rapper Trick Trick, who has featured the club in his videos, as one of the nightclub’s owners.

Trick Trick Speaks On Yung Berg Robbery

In light of Yung Berg’s recent public beating and robbery at the Plan B Nightclub in Detroit, rapper and club co-owner Trick Trick is maintaining that the incident had nothing to do with him.

In an exclusive interview with us, Trick Trick detailed the specifics behind the assault that left Berg bruised and stripped of his flashy Transformer chain.

“First of all I ain’t no jack n***a . I don’t need to jack nann [any] n***a to get what I gotta get,” Trick clarified to us. “Karma’s a motherf**ker so I’m not taking no n***a’s s**t. I earn mine. I don’t need that piece of s**t ass aluminum foil chain the b**ch had on no way.”

Rumors have circulated that Trick Trick orchestrated the attack in retaliation for previous comments Yung Berg made, disparaging the Detroit native as an MC and Detroit’s rap scene as a whole.

While Trick admits it was members on his entourage who carried out the attack, he claims to have broken up the assault and argues Yung Berg should have cleared his appearance beforehand.

“My lil n***as got him. The label called and told me he wasn’t coming, so I wasn’t expecting him. So there was no need for me to tell the lil homies that ‘aye, the n***a’s straight,’ because he wasn’t coming,” Trick reasoned. “I saved that n***a’s life. He would probably be dead right now or in a coma if I hadn’t ran over there and pushed the lil homies back so they could quit stomping this n***a.”

The bludgeoning left Berg visibly bruised and forced the 23-year-old MC to cancel a scheduled high profile performance at Hot 102.7’s Summer Jam.

Also, a brazen picture of an unidentified man sporting Berg’s chain leaked onto the internet yesterday.

Trick Trick feels unsympathetic to Berg’s situation, feeling the Chicago native brought the beatdown on himself.

“You can’t be saying ‘fuck Trick Trick’ and you don’t like dark skin women,” Trick sneered. “I was gonna school the little n***a to the ropes of the game! If you gonna take some notes, take notes from an OG. The lil homies got that trophy [the chain], I don’t want that s**t. I don’t have any problems with the little n***a. I [just] don’t like him.”

Yung Berg is still promoting his new album Look What You Made Me, which debuted at #20 2 weeks ago on Billboard’s Top 200.

Trick Trick is finishing work on his sophomore album The Villian, which will feature appearances from Eminem, Kid Rock, Esham, and Proof.

At press time, Yung Berg and the Detroit Police Department could not be reached for comment.

*UPDATE* -Yung Berg's bodyguard was bailed out TODAY

As we previously reported, Yung Berg left his body guard in jail:

Yung Berg's bodyguard is still sitting in Rykers stemming from the incident a few weeks ago when Yung Berg was arrested on drugs and weapon charges.. Apparently, Yung Berg and his friends were smoking in the limo. The limo driver asked them to stop, and they started disrespecting the driver. Yung Berg, then asked the driver to take them somewhere else, and the driver told them it will be an additional $70. They didn't want to pay the fee, so the driver put Yung Berg and his entourage out which included his bodyguard, and called the police. The police then came and arrested them all. Berg bailed out himself for 2k, along with his entourage, but left his bodyguard in jail. He called the mother of the bodyguard to let her know he was arrested & for her to bail him out of jail.
The bodyguard is currently charged with weapons possession, and his bail is set at $100k. Sounds like he needs $10k to get out on bond.

Rapper Yung Berg was busted early yesterday morning in New York City after police investigated a complaint by a limo driver. Sources say a limo driver reported a dispute with five passengers, and when police investigated the complaint, they busted Berg and his buddies on a pile of charges. Cops say Berg, real name Christian Ward, was charged with criminal possession of a weapon, criminal possession of marijuana and menacing.
