Relatively new mother, Jennifer Lopez, was in Athens on Saturday for the first leg of her new tour. The Greek people seem to adore her and 11,000 people were at the Olympic Stadium to watch her perform. Fashion diva JLo had three costume changes during the show, a close fitting black outfit, a shiny gold babydoll over black shorts, and the unfortunate, white, fringed, open sided number. While performing, Lopez struck a pose that showed the world that triathalon training doesn’t defy Mother Nature. Without a bra, Jennifer Lopez really could be just Jenny from the block, a normal, carpooling, 39-year old mother of 7-month old twins. That wouldn’t be bad if she wasn’t notoriously JLo. Jennifer Lopez had been anything but frumpy earlier in the day when she posed for a secret photo shoot at the Acropolis. Just hours before Jenny from the block had dazzled in a glamorous Greek goddess photo shoot at the sacred Acropolis. Wearing a dreamy flowing strapless blue dress, Lopez gazed intensely into the camera of Greek-born photographer Spyros Poros. Lopez, with her hair curly, can be seen holding herself up between two huge pillars of the ancient Erechtheion, on the north side of the Acropolis. While it is still unclear what the photos will be used for, there were rumours that they would appear in a weekly magazine."

J Lo May Be Off the Hook

Jennifer Lopez may be able to finally wash her hands of the night-club shooting fiasco of 1999:

A woman who blames Diddy for being shot in the face during a nightclub incident almost ten years ago has finally let the rappers big-assed girlfriend at the time off the hook — for now.

Yesterday was supposed to be D-day — as in deposition — for Jennifer Lopez in Natania Reuben’s $120 million suit against Puffy — for a 1999 incident in which he was already acquitted of any wrongdoing. The deposition has taken months and months to schedule, but sources tell us Lo has “nothing to contribute” to the case, which is why her depo was finally KO’d. We’re also told that there’s no new date in sight — meaning Lopez may have dodged the bullet for good.

J Lo must be pretty relieved at this point. She’s probably sick and tired of being associated with Puffy’s suspect bullshyte.

Talk about opening up old wounds…J Lo is being forced to testify in the infamous night club shooting case against Diddy:”

Jennifer Lopez has been subpoenaed to testify in a lawsuit filed against hip-hop mogul Sean Combs over his involvement in a 1999 New York club shooting. The Latina was dating Combs at the time of the incident, and was present at the now-defunct Club New York when shots were fired in the venue on 27 December 1999, injuring two people.
Combs’ rap protege Shyne, real name Jamal Barrow, is currently serving a 10-year jail term after he was found guilty of assault, reckless endangerment and gun possession in the trial following the shooting. The rap heavyweight was arrested for various charges including weapons violations, but was acquitted of all counts.

However, both Combs and Shyne are currently fighting a $130 million (GBP65 million) civil suit filed by victim Natania Reuben, who was shot in the face during the incident.
Combs completed his deposition in the case in March (08), but now Lopez must reveal all she knows at an upcoming deposition after being served by Reuben’s lawyers last week (ends20Jun08). She was not called as a witness in the 2001 criminal trial and split from Combs shortly afterwards.
A judge will soon be required to decide whether Shyne acted alone or as part of Combs’ Bad Boy collective - the record label the hip-hop giant founded in 1993 - before the case goes to trial.
If both Combs and Shyne are required to stand trial, it will be up to a jury to decide who should take responsibility for the shooting.
Shyne, who did not testify during the criminal trial, may be required to take the stand and testify about the incident. He is currently incarcerated at the Clinton Correctional Facility in New York State, and could be released as early as next year (09).

Monday, we reported the room, which is furnished with a leather couch, had “been sitting empty for two weeks” in preparation for the pop diva’s twins. But a recent patient at the hospital told Page Six that during her visit, staffers were aflutter, exclaiming, “J.Lo is here!” A rep for the expectant songstress did not return calls for a comment.
