Last month jeweler Jacob Arabov began federal prison sentence after being convicted of laundering millions of dollars for the Black Mafia Family. Now Arabov, known for providing bling to numerous Hip-Hop stars, has filed a lawsuit against rapper Wyclef Jean. The man and his company Jacob & Co. claim that the artist owes over $300,000 in oustanding bills. The New York Daily News reports that a lawsuit was filed yesterday and Jacob & Co. accused Wyclef of purchasing $765,000 worth of watches and jewels between March of 2002 and January 2006, but still has a balance of $319,680.
The 43-year-old jeweler pled guilty to falsifying records and giving false statements in a federal case. He was sentences to 30 months behind bars.
