According to WNBC:
A strong earthquake has shaken Southern California.
According to the U.S. Geological Survey, the earthquake was measured at 5.8.
Officials said the quake lasted about 20 seconds and that it hit around 11:42 PT Tuesday.
The jolt was felt from Los Angeles to San Diego and slightly in Las Vegas.
Preliminary information from the USGS estimated that the quake was centered 29 miles east-southeast of downtown Los Angeles near Chino Hills.
