50 Cent Blaze Part Of Arson Spree?
Fire Destroys Home of Rapper 50 Cent; Suspicion and Accusation Abound
Early this past Friday morning a fire of “suspicious” origin destroyed the multi-million-dollar Long Island, New York home of rapper 50 Cent (real name Curtis Jackson). At the time of the fire, Jackson’s ex-girlfriend Shanique Tompkins, their son and at least four other people occupied the home.
The house had been at the center of a legal dispute between Jackson and Tompkins. She claimed the rapper had promised her a home but attempted to renege on the promise when the couple broke-up. There have even been reports that Tompkins is accusing Jackson of being responsible for the fire.
However, Jackson was in Louisiana filming a motion picture at the time of the fire. Through a spokesman, he expressed deep concern over the fire and said he was “extremely happy” everyone escaped the burning house without injury.
