Music mogul QUINCY JONES "loves" the work of British producer MARK RONSON - despite the DJ breaking off his engagement with the legend's actress daughter.
Jones, the superproducer behind Michael Jackson's hit album Thriller, admits he is a big fan of the "Valarie" hitmaker and doesn't blame him for dumping daughter Rashida - because their split was down to the pressures of their thriving careers.
He says, "I love Mark. Especially his work with Amy Winehouse. He's a very special kid.
"As for his relationship with Rashida, he was a young guy, starting his career at a time when you're not thinking about settling down."
Ronson, 32, ended his romance with The Office star in 2004 - exactly one year after proposing to the 31-year-old.
